Lorie L. Chism Joins Rogers Towers’ Nassau County Office

Lorie L. Chism has joined Rogers Towers’ Nassau County Office as a member of the Business and Tax Department.

Her practice will focus on taxation, planning for closely-held businesses, strategic business planning, succession planning for business owners, and business organization and acquisition.

Chism is a Certified Public Accountant, and a former shareholder of the Amelia Island accounting firm, Lorie L. McCarroll, P.A. After earning her law degree from Florida Coastal School of Law in 2001, she served as an associate with Purcell, Flanagan & Hay, and most recently with Ivan Cole & Bonnette.

“Lorie’s significant skills as an attorney as well as her years of experience working as a CPA make her an excellent asset to the firm,” said Douglas Ward, managing director of Rogers Towers. “The addition of Lorie to our team allows us to enhance our service offerings from our Nassau County office.”

Chism is a member of The Florida Bar Real Property, Probate & Trust Law Section. She is also a member of the State Bar of Georgia Tax and Business Law Section. She currently serves on the Boards of Directors for St. Vincent’s Foundation and the Boys and Girls Club of Nassau County, and is a past president of the Rotary Club of Fernandina Beach. Chism is also currently a member of the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
