09/01/2011
Rogers Towers has opened its sixth office in Florida. Effective Sept. 6, 2011, the firm’s newest office, located at 13350 Metro Parkway, Suite 302, will offer its full range of legal services to its commercial and individual clients. The office will compliment the firm’s Naples office that was opened in the fall of 2010.
The firm has also hired Douglas L. Waldorf, Jr., to manage the Fort Myers office. He is a Florida Bar Board Certified Real Estate lawyer whose practice focuses on banking industry clients. A member of the Florida Bar since 1986, Waldorf represents lenders in commercial and residential loan transactions, as well as in mortgage foreclosures, deeds in lieu of foreclosure, forbearance agreements and other matters related to defaulted loan workouts.
“We are extremely pleased to have Doug lead our expansion efforts into the Fort Myers market,” said Fred D. Franklin, Jr., managing director of Rogers Towers. “He brings years of banking law experience to the firm and will be a great addition to our team.”
Prior to joining Rogers Towers, Waldorf was a partner with the law firm of Henderson Franklin for nine years. Before working in private practice, he served for nearly twelve years as Vice President and Corporate Legal Counsel for SunTrust Bank in Lee and Collier counties. Waldorf received his undergraduate degree in Finance and both his J.D. and M.B.A. degrees from the University of Florida.
“Rogers Towers has represented businesses and individuals throughout the state of Florida for many years,” said Franklin. “Opening a Fort Myers office is a logical way to provide more convenient access for our clients in Southwest Florida.”
