Associated Practice Subareas
Rogers Towers’ local government practice spans many of the firm’s practice groups. Throughout Rogers Towers’ existence, our attorneys have served as general counsel and/or special counsel to numerous cities, counties, and public agencies. From labor and employment issues to condemnation cases to bond/utilities work to environmental and land use work, our attorneys have represented local governments over the years. We also have a wide range of experience in representing clients before governmental entities relating to everything from litigating bidder’s protests to navigating the Development of Regional Impact review process.
Through the firm’s representation of local government entities, we are familiar with all areas of day-to-day local government representation including public records law, sunshine law, public utilities, procurement issues, home rule law, solid waste and all other aspects of governmental operation. It is important to note that several of Rogers Towers’ attorneys previously served as city or county attorneys in Florida.
