Together with lawyers in our Public Finance practice, we have considerable experience in the representation of letter of credit providers in negotiating and documenting transactions related to bond financing and credit enhancement for transactions involving both new affordable housing construction and historic housing rehabilitation.
We also provide lenders generally with assistance in complex real estate loans, including other types of related credit enhancement such as bond insurance, repurchase agreements or third-party guaranties. Transactions documented include acquisition and development loans, construction loans, permanent takeout loans, and commercial and industrial loans.
Our experience in financing, for both borrower and lender, extends to preparation of complex loan agreements, notes, mortgages / deeds of trust and other collateral documents. This experience includes handling judicial and non-judicial foreclosures and workouts.
