Working in a state that is regularly ranked in the top 5 in terms of building permits, Rogers Towers has assembled a team of attorneys and legal assistants highly experienced in the complexities of construction law, including Florida lien law, construction contracts and construction bonds. Our Construction Group represents owners, developers, contractors, homeowners, subcontractors, materials manufacturers and design professionals in construction projects ranging from single-family homes to large commercial buildings and planned unit developments.

Rogers Towers provides a full range of legal services including preparing and reviewing construction contracts, developing risk management programs, and litigating a wide variety of disputes. These may involve construction failures, delay disruption and loss of efficiency claims, lien and bond claims, jobsite injuries, OSHA claims, environmental remediation, intellectual property disputes, and toxic torts. Our experience covers a broad range of building design, materials testing and construction of projects of all sizes and complexity.

Our Construction Group has experience in all aspects of public contracting at the federal, state and local levels. Our core strengths extend into bid and proposal preparation, procurement protests, contract negotiation, change orders, claims, contract compliance issues, disputes and litigation. Many members of the group also have a professional background in the fields of construction and engineering.

To keep up with new trends in the industry, our attorneys participate in trade associations and also are active members of the American Bar Association’s Forum on the Construction Industry.

The firm also has five attorneys who are board certified in construction law by the Florida Bar.
