Governmental and Regulatory Law

From city halls to the statehouse, Rogers Towers has developed the working knowledge and relationships needed to steer a steady course through the process that is government.

Government, no matter what the level, is a process of laws and rules of order. Many of the attorneys at Rogers Towers have become familiar firsthand with this process of local government law and administrative law by serving as general counsel and/or special counsel to numerous cities, counties and public agencies throughout Florida. Our attorneys have represented local governments in condemnation cases, bond/utilities work, labor and employment issues, environmental cases and land use work.

These experiences have made the details of day-to-day local government law including public records law, sunshine law, public utilities, procurement issues, home rule law, and solid waste management an integral part of who we are and contribute to the insights and strategies we develop for clients needing to navigate through a government body or agency. Whether needing to protest the results of a municipal bidding process or find their way through a Development of Regional Impact review process, our clients can trust our experience and knowledge.

Our local government law practice spans many of Rogers Towers’ practice groups. And our Government Contracting Services provides a full range of services to help clients compete for local, state and federal contracts.
