Preventive Advice and Training

Today, no workplace is untouched by the statutes and regulations that govern employee relationships. These regulations are constantly growing more complex, and Rogers Towers is versed in simplifying them for our clients. We believe that the best way to handle employment litigation is to avoid it altogether, so we devote a substantial amount of our Labor and Employment practice to helping clients prevent legal issues.

We focus on helping our clients develop human resources solutions that minimize the likelihood of and exposure to employee complaints, union-related problems and government agency actions. In the past, we’ve reviewed and helped develop employee handbooks, hiring forms and termination processes. We’re also versed in the development of employment contracts, hiring employees with non-compete, non-solicitation and non-disclosure restrictive covenants.

Rogers Towers’ attorneys conduct managerial and supervisory training sessions that address compliance with equal employment opportunity laws, wage-hour laws, avoiding wrongful discharge claims (including minimizing the risks in hiring, discipline and discharge), avoiding harassment and discrimination claims, union avoidance, and various legal compliance issues. Each training session is tailored to meet the particular needs of our individual clients.
