Main Biography

Ms. Cox's practice is concentrated in the area of complex commercial and bankruptcy litigation.  These areas include representing financial institutions in enforcing commercial and real estate loans and leases, foreclosing on collateral, defending lender liability claims and structuring workouts.  Additionally, she handles all phases of bankruptcy litigation, including representation of secured and unsecured creditors in Chapter 11, 13 and 7 cases, creditors committees in Chapter 11 cases, adversary proceedings and appeals, and cases which involve sophisticated contract disputes and business torts.  Ms. Cox’s practice also focuses on all phases of probate, trust and guardianship litigation.  She is chair of the firm’s Business Litigation Practice Group.
