Main Biography
Mr. Summers’ practice is concentrated in commercial litigation including representation of creditors prior to, and in, bankruptcy cases.
Previous Professional Experience
Prior to joining Rogers Towers in the fall of 2004, Mr. Summers was associated with the law firm of Kaufman & Canoles in Virginia where he practiced in their bankruptcy and creditors’ rights group for five years. Prior to that, from 1998 to 1999, Mr. Summers was law clerk to the Honorable Stephen C. St. John, United States Bankruptcy Judge for the Eastern District of Virginia. Previously, Mr. Summers interned with the Honorable Alexander L. Paskay, United States Bankruptcy Judge for the Middle District of Florida, and the Honorable Elizabeth Kovachevich, United States District Court Judge for the Middle District of Florida.
