Jacksonville, FL, October 2, 2017 – Rogers Towers, P.A., one of Florida’s oldest full-service law firms, is pleased to announce Shareholders Joseph Clay Meux, Jr. and Cheryl L. Worman have been elected to the firm’s Board of Directors, effective October 1, 2017.

Mr. Meux has been with the firm since 2011. He earned his Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of Law (’94) and Bachelor of Arts from Jacksonville University (’91). Mr. Meux focuses his practice on representing clients throughout Florida in elder law, estate planning, wills and trusts, probate litigation and administration, guardianship litigation and administration, and real estate and commercial matters. He has been listed in Florida Super Lawyers® (Elder Law) since 2014.

Ms. Worman has been with the firm since 1993 and brings more than 20 years of experience to helping clients resolve disputes in Florida’s increasingly litigious construction industry. She earned her Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from Stetson University College of Law (’93) and a Bachelor of Arts from University of West Florida (’87). Ms. Worman is Board Certified in Construction Law from The Florida Bar and rated AV Preeminent® by Martindale-Hubble. She has received a variety of honors including being listed in: Florida Super Lawyers® (Construction Litigation), 2009-2017; Florida Super Lawyers®, Top 50 Women, 2016; Florida Trend Magazine, “Legal Elite” (Construction), 2012-2014, 2016; The Best Lawyers in America® (Construction Law), 2018.

Mr. Meux and Ms. Worman are replacing Shareholders G. Kenneth Norrie and Michael A. Wodrich, who both served for many dedicated years on the firm’s Board of Directors. Mr. Meux and Ms. Worman will join current Board members, Fred D. Franklin, Jr., Chairman of the Board, Managing Director, and Shareholder, along with Shareholders Christine T. Adams and Wyman R. Duggan.
