On Friday March 27, 2020, the President signed into law, the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (H.R. 748) or “CARES Act,” providing for, among other things, the Paycheck Protection Program (“PPP”).

On Friday April 24, 2020, the President signed into law the Paycheck Protection Program and Health Care Enhancement Act, providing, among other things, $310 billion in additional funding for loans under the PPP, as well as more funding for hospitals and testing.
