Amanda J. Adam is a member of Rogers Towers' Business and Tax department. Her practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions and other strategic transactions, securities regulatory compliance matters, corporate governance guidance, drafting operative documents and general business advice.
She has represented clients on both the buy and sell side of complex corporate transactions such as capital raises, equity and debt financing, stock purchases, and asset sales. Amanda has provided guidance to private and public companies on matters relating to corporate governance, equity compensation, and securities law compliance and disclosure. Amanda has also counseled businesses in a variety of industries, including cannabis, blockchain, engineering, technology, consumer, and life sciences.
Prior to joining Rogers Towers, P.A., Amanda practiced at two law firms in Boston. Amanda began her career as an associate in the Asset Management group of Ropes & Gray LLP where she focused on securities law filings and compliance. Most recently, Amanda practiced at Burns & Levinson LLP in the firm's corporate department where her practice spanned the areas of mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments and transactions, capital raises, securities transactions and compliance, and general business affairs.
Amanda earned her law degree from Suffolk University Law School, summa cum laude.
