JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (May 14, 2013) – Adam B. Brandon recently joined Rogers Towers as an associate in its Litigation Department. He will practice in the firm’s office located in Ponte Vedra, Florida. The firm’s Ponte Vedra office will offer its full range of legal services to its commercial and individual clients.

Brandon attended Wheaton College, where he earned a B.A., magna cum laude , in Economics in 2004. He received his Juris Doctor, magna cum laude , in 2007 from the University of Notre Dame Law School.

Prior to joining Rogers Towers, Mr. Brandon served in the U.S. Navy Judge Advocate General’s (JAG) Corps as the Command Judge Advocate at Naval Air Station Jacksonville. In that capacity, he led a legal team that provided high-visibility general counsel advice to the Installation Commanding Officer as well as 110 major and mid-level commands on military justice, fiscal law, ethics, Freedom of Information Act requests, public-private venture housing, investigations, and regulatory compliance. He previously practiced as a criminal defense attorney before courts-martial and administrative hearings.

An Iraq War Veteran, Mr. Brandon deployed to Baghdad, Iraq, where he worked with Iraqi judges and attorneys to prosecute cases against 130 Iraqi detainees. As a liaison to the Central Criminal Court of Iraq, he directed cases for offenses such as murder, terrorism, kidnapping, and torture. He also mentored Iraqi judges and attorneys on the use of forensic evidence and international legal norms. Mr. Brandon continues his military service as a Lieutenant in the Naval Reserves.
