Mr. Price is a member of Rogers Towers’ Marital and Family Law Department. He represents clients in all areas of Family and Domestic Relations Law, including dissolution of marriage (both contested and uncontested), paternity matters, support issues, injunctions, post-judgment matters, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, attorney’s fees, and related ancillary issues. Lewis also has extensive experience in complex custody matters.
Recently, Lewis successfully represented a father in a highly contentious paternity case, securing full custody of his minor children following an 11-month period during which the father had no contact with them.
Lewis also represented a former husband in a post-judgment proceeding after the former wife absconded with the minor children to another state. Following numerous hearings, Lewis obtained a court order requiring the return of the children to Florida and awarding the former husband majority time sharing. He subsequently defended the former wife’s appeal, with the appellate court affirming the trial court’s ruling.
In another matter, Lewis successfully represented a former husband in a post-judgment alimony modification proceeding, resulting in the termination of the former husband’s permanent alimony obligation.
Although the highlighted cases above involved representation of men, Lewis’s family law practice represents both men and women equally, with the same dedication, strategic focus, and compassion, regardless of the client’s role or circumstances.
Lewis also regularly assists in the preparation of prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, often in collaboration with the firm’s Trusts & Estates and Real Estate Departments. This work can involve structuring the conveyance of property to an heir to ensure that a property’s non-marital status is maintained and estate planning objectives are achieved.
Lewis and his department employ a comprehensive, team-based approach to client representation. This collaborative model provides clients with the highest level of excellence and service, an uncommon standard in this area of law.
Prior to entering private practice, Mr. Price served as an Assistant State Attorney for the Fourth Judicial Circuit, where he held the position of Circuit Court Felony Line Attorney in Division CD-E.
