JACKSONVILLE, FL, January 10, 2022 – The law firm of Rogers Towers, PA is pleased to announce the promotion of Kathryn K. Rudderman and Matthew M. Tonuzi as new shareholders, effective January 1, 2022 and Jason C. Hill being formally recognized as a shareholder.
Jason C. Hill joined the firm in 2021 as a shareholder. Mr. Hill is a member of Rogers Towers’ Real Estate Practice Group. His practice focuses on the representation of clients engaged in the purchase, sale, lease and development of commercial and residential real estate transactions, ranging in scope to include retail, industrial, mixed-use, multifamily, and vacant land projects, as well as the representation of lenders and borrowers in conjunction with the finance and restructuring of real estate loans involving such transactions. Mr. Hill also has extensive title insurance experience. He earned his Juris Doctor from Florida State University College of Law.
Kathryn K. Rudderman joined the firm in 2019. Ms. Rudderman is a member of Rogers Towers’ Labor and Employment department. She counsels employers on best practices to achieve employment law compliance while also taking into consideration important business objectives and employee perception issues. Ms. Rudderman also prepares and updates employment applications and forms, employee handbooks, non-competition and confidentiality aagreements, and other employment-related documents and agreements. Ms. Rudderman works with employers to defend against charges of discrimination and other claims when filed with various government agencies. She earned her Juris Doctor from Florida State University College of Law.
Matthew M. Tonuzi joined the firm in 2016. Mr. Tonuzi is a member of Rogers Towers’ Construction department. He focuses his practice in areas of construction litigation, condominium law, planning and zoning and first-party insurance claims. Mr. Tonuzi represents various contractors, subcontractors and homeowners throughout the state with a variety of construction-related matters. He also specializes in representing landlords of commercial and residential properties, homeowner’s associations and condominiums, and public and private corporations. He earned his Juris Doctor from Western Michigan University, Cooley School of Law; and Masters of Law, Real Property Development and Finance, with honors , from University of Miami, School of Law.
