The St. Johns County Chamber of Commerce and its associated Economic Development Council (EDC) recently recognized Rogers Towers’ attorney Ellen Avery-Smith at its annual dinner and awards ceremony.

Avery-Smith was elected as Vice Chairman of the EDC, and was presented with the “EDC Fred Schroeder Member of the Year Award.”

According to a news release distributed by the chamber, “Avery Smith has taken the initiative to be a strong advocate for economic development at various legislative events, always ready and willing to contribute knowledge and expertise to advance the EDC’s efforts and ensure that our community remains competitive in economic development activities.”
