JACKSONVILLE, FL , July 1, 2021 – Rogers Towers law firm announced that Fred D. Franklin, Jr. has made the decision to transition from his Managing Director position back to the full-time practice of law within the firm’s Litigation Department . Having served as Chairman of the Board and Managing Director for 11 years, Mr. Franklin will now hold the position of Chairman Emeritus of the firm’s Board of Directors.

The firm also announced that Joseph Clay Meux, Jr. has been elected the firm’s Chairman of the Board, Managing Director and President. Clay Meux has served on the firm’s Board of Directors since 2017 and is a Shareholder in the Estates and Trusts Department . Mr. Meux has an active role in serving the community with Board positions on Columbia Theological Seminary and the Downtown Ecumenical Services Council (DESC), is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and is also a Leadership Jacksonville alumnus.
