Rogers Towers is pleased to announce the election of its new Chairman of the Board and Managing Director, Fred D. Franklin, Jr. Additionally, the firm’s new board of directors includes T.R. Hainline, Jr., G. Kenneth Norrie, William E. Scheu and Michael A. Wodrich.
Franklin succeeds Douglas Ward, who will retire on Dec. 31. Ward served as Managing Director of Rogers Towers for nine years, and practiced commercial real estate law at the firm for the duration of his career, a span of 39 years.
“We have an exciting year of growth and new possibilities ahead of us,” said Franklin. “What remains constant, however, is our commitment to excellence and integrity in serving our clients and community.”
Franklin has more than 30 years of legal experience, with his practice primarily focused on commercial litigation. From 1995 through 1997, Franklin served as General Counsel for the City of Jacksonville. Additionally, he is past General Counsel to the Jacksonville Regional Chamber of Commerce. Franklin has remained highly active in the community, currently serving as General Counsel to the Gator Bowl Association, and is a member of the Jacksonville Civic Council.
