At tonight’s City Council meeting, the City of Jacksonville Beach has its second reading and a public hearing on an ordinance to declare a temporary moratorium on the operation of medical marijuana treatment centers and medical marijuana dispensing organizations within the city for a period of one year.  The meeting will be held at 11 North Third Street, Jacksonville Beach, Florida 32250 at 7:00 p.m.

Tomorrow night, the Nassau County Board of Commissioners is holding a special meeting for the first public hearing on an ordinance declaring zoning in progress and imposing a moratorium on the establishment of medical marijuana dispensing facilities and acceptance and processing of applications in the unincorporated areas of Nassau County for a period of 180 days.  The meeting will be held at the James S. Page Governmental Complex, Yulee, Florida 32097 at 6:00 p.m.  A second public hearing is scheduled for December 21, 2016 at 9:00 a.m.

At the City Commission meeting on December 12, 2016, the City of Atlantic Beach will have its first reading and a public hearing on an ordinance considering a temporary moratorium on the operation of medical marijuana treatment centers and medical marijuana dispensing organizations within the city for a period of one year.  The meeting will be held at 800 Seminole Road, Atlantic Beach, Florida 32233 at 6:30 p.m.
